What it detects, when to do it and why clearing the code isn’t enough?
A modern car has dozens of control units constantly monitoring the engine, gearbox, brakes and airbags. When something works incorrectly, the system stores a fault code and often turns on a warning light. Computer diagnostics let us read that record and pinpoint the source of the problem.
Simply clearing a fault fixes nothing — the light comes back if the fault is still there. That’s why our diagnostics means reading, analysis and concrete conclusions: what the cause is, how urgent the repair is and what it will cost. You can come to the workshop or use our call-out.

What does computer diagnostics detect?
We connect to the diagnostic port and read the control unit memory. That lets us check, among others:
- Engine and fuel system — injection, ignition, turbo and sensor faults
- Exhaust after-treatment — lambda sensor, EGR, DPF/FAP, catalytic converter
- Gearbox, ABS/ESP and the braking system
- Airbags and safety systems (SRS)
- Air conditioning, comfort and other body control units
- Live parameters (temperatures, pressures, revs) for intermittent faults
When to have diagnostics done?
Don’t wait for a small problem to turn into an expensive breakdown. Diagnostics helps when:
- The check engine or another warning light comes on
- The car jerks, stalls, loses power or uses more fuel
